When selecting wedding colors with a very neutral palette it’s important to have a lot of texture in the details of your celebration to keep things from looking too flat. This wedding we collaborated on with La Fete Weddings did just that. Our sweet clients Lauren + Andrew selected a very neutral color palette for the big day, but Lauren wanted to make sure there was texture not only on the big day but specifically on the paper products.
Creating Lauren + Andrew’s wedding invitations and day of papers was such a blast for me, as I LOVE texture. You can see more of their entire suite here but for now, lets dive into their amazing over-the-top celebration! Captured perfectly by Mi Belle Photographers.
How amazing is Lauren’s bouquet by Camellia Floral Design? I’m such a sucker for flowers and this bouquet is just the right amount of hand picked yet structured lush I love!
Guest’s arrived to the beautiful ceremony at Santa Barbara’s Four Season’s Resort the Biltmore. Instead of the traditional program, Lauren + Andrew opted for their guest’s to each receive a special “program package”. Each guest’s name was on the cover and inside they found the wedding program, a thank you letter and their seating assignment for the reception. A fun and unique way to make your guests feel extra special!
Let’s take a moment and marvel at this reception space, shall we…
Lauren + Andrew’s wedding menus were such a fun concept! A tented menu combined with a place card. Velvet, letterpressed, wood, all tied together with a pretty ribbon. I loved these!
