The last of my favorite weddings from the past 10 years is that of Michele and Tim at Four Season’s Resort The Biltmore in Santa Barbara. This wedding is a favorite for so many reasons, lets jump right in…
Michele and I became fast friends during the planning process. She not only enlisted my help with the stationery but we also began chatting about thoughts and ideas for her wedding decor as well. Being able to talk about the paper products, and then carry over what we were using into her design elements for the big day was such a thrill! The wedding colors were muted tones of blush, champagne and whites. Beautifully captured by Mi Belle Photographers.
The ceremony took place on the lawn at the Biltmore in Santa Barbara. We designed fans for Michele and Tim’s programs to help keep guests cool as it was a fairly hot day! Stunning floral and event design by Michael of Louloudi Design.
Michele and Tim’s invitations have been a favorite of many since I posted them on my blog a while back. You may remember them, and you can see their full suite here. After a beautiful ceremony on the lawn, guests headed over to the Coral Casino at The Biltmore for cocktail hour, and then the reception.
And holy cow, what a reception! Michele opted for two different types of tables, floral arrangements and chairs. A look you know I LOVE if you read this blog at all. The first table design used long wooden tables, tall arrangements in wrought iron and chiavari chairs. The second design featured round tables with beautiful cloths from La Tavola, low arrangements and cane back chairs.
Sweet and Saucy made a fabulous groom’s cake as well as Michele and Tim’s main wedding cake. At the end of the night guests were invited to take home a bottle of wine as a favor, which we designed cute little favor tags for.
