I’m so behind on blog posts it’s not even funny but that’s okay! I’ll be getting caught up soon with some amazing new work to share as well. In the meantime, I wanted to share this fun suite from an amazing wedding last year. Our clients Kat and PJ were such a dream to work with, and collaborating with La Fete Weddings on this celebration was truly incredible. Kat’s style was very sophisticated, elegant and timeless with a hint of simplicity. I was completely smitten with her color scheme of gold and cream with a hint of navy…
For her invitation, Kat fell in love with one of our past invitations so this was a classic example of taking one of our previous designs and using it as inspiration for another client’s own unique and personal invitation.
Kat and PJ’s invitation featured a custom monogram on the cover that PJ conceptualized and we brought to life which was really fun!
Inside, the main invitation card featured a custom drawing of the church where Kat and PJ were married. I love incorporating elements like this into the invitation design. It adds such a personal level and a fun touch to any suite.
Since blue was just an accent color, we used mostly gold and cream for the printing and added a little hint of navy blue on the additional cards.
Besides the invitation, Kat and PJ also got wedding programs and menus from us. I loved working on their programs which carried their design and “brand” seamlessly into their wedding celebration.
Their wedding was beautiful, and something I hope to share very soon!!
