the Founder

Wife, mama, lover of good food and travel; I’m Heidi, the founder and creative director of Zenadia Design. I have a passion for typography and all things paper, and I love creating invitations for couples starting the next chapter of their life together!

 

When I’m not in the studio you’ll find me spending time with my family {they’re first and foremost in my life}, cooking {I love creating healthy delicious food!}, gardening {vegetables, flowers, I just love being outside!} or reading a good book {historical fiction and travel books in particular}. Some of my favorite places in the world include Venice-Italy, Koh Samui-Thailand, Rovinj-Croatia and Manuel Antonio-Costa Rica.

 

I love meeting new people and learning about everyone’s different styles and what makes their celebrations unique. I feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful time in people’s lives!

the Process

We believe that a great design process lies within the details; therefore our process is very visual, hands-on and collaborative. We provide material samples, a hard copy proof, pictures or videos when a one- dimensional digital design doesn’t cut it, and unlimited revisions as long as time allows. We’re passionate about a process that’s fun, detail driven and, above all, stress free.

 

It all starts with a CONVERSATION…

step no. 1: CONSULT

The design process begins with a conversation either via telephone, Skype, FaceTime or in person. This is the time for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us! We’ll want to hear all about your plans for your upcoming event and learn about your style and what makes you unique. We’ll also use this time to chat over some possibilities for your invitations and paper products. After our meeting we’ll provide you with detailed estimates based on what we have chatted about.

step no. 2: BOOKING

Once a pricing structure is agreed upon we’ll move forward with creating a detailed schedule for your entire process with due dates and when you will need to provide feedback during the process. This will be delivered along with your service contract. Once the signed contract is returned with the $500 initial deposit we move onto the design phase.

step no. 3: DESIGN

The fun begins! At this time we’ll start to develop the concepts for your invitations. We’ll also start getting together a sample package of materials to send your way, which you’ll be able to view with your initial digital designs once they’re delivered. You will be provided with several different designs, and from there, it’s a collaborative creative process fine tuning and revising your designs until we achieve the optimum look for you. Our studio allows unlimited revisions as long as time permits.

step no. 4: PROOFING

Once the designs are delivered and we’ve revised and combined design elements to create your perfect suite the proofing process starts. We’ll begin with a digital proof, which will need to be approved with the material choices before we move onto a hard copy proof which will need to be signed off before printing and production begin. The remaining balance of your invoice will also be due at this time.

step no. 5: PRODUCTION

Each invitation is meticulously made by hand in house, allowing us to oversee production and ultimately provide you with a perfectly crafted work of art. Depending on the complexity of your design and the processes involved, the production process can take anywhere from 4 – 8 weeks to complete.

step no. 6: DELIVERY

Once your invitations are completed, they will be shipped off to you, or by your request, mailed to each guest. Stuff, stamp and mailing services are included in our $2000 minimum.

During the Zenadia Design couture invitation experience, we work closely with you to make sure you are getting an invitation you love.

the Company

Founded in 2005, Zenadia Design is exclusively a couture invitation studio designing one-of-a-kind wedding and event invitations for couples worldwide. We work with a limited number of clients at a time and are passionate about the custom process and creating a truly memorable experience. Working intimately with our clients, we get to know them and their event style to deliver a truly personalized work of art for each celebration.

 

Zenadia Design has had the privilege of working with many high profile and celebrity clients, and we’re honored to have received California Wedding Day’s Best Of Bride 2014 award for invitations.
